Participants will examine how clear, consistent boundaries support resilience and well-being, and how the lack of them can lead to burnout and compassion fatigue. Through role play and real-life scenarios, the session encourages self-awareness and practical strategies for boundary-setting in challenging environments.

Vicarious Trauma, Compassion Fatigue and Resilience
This training addresses the impact of exposure to trauma on humanitarian aid workers, focusing on Vicarious Trauma, Compassion Fatigue, and Resilience. Participants will explore their causes, signs, and prevention strategies, while also learning about Vicarious Resilience and Vicarious Compassion—concepts that help transform challenging experiences into growth. The session emphasizes mental health self-care and provides practical tips and guidelines for personal and professional well-being.

Psychological First Aid
In humanitarian settings, being prepared to respond to emergencies is essential. This training covers how to provide Psychological First Aid (PFA) in crisis situations, outlining key steps and responsible intervention practices. It also emphasizes self-care during response efforts. Through practical activities, participants will build tools, confidence, and a clear plan for effective crisis support in both professional and personal contexts.

Stress Management
This training explores the causes, signs, and symptoms of stress, with a focus on recognizing and managing it effectively. Through guided reflection and group activities, participants develop a personalized stress management plan. Emphasis is placed on taking responsibility for mental well-being and ensuring a positive, harm-free impact on others.

Trauma Management
This session introduces basic trauma theory and its effects on the mind and body. It includes grounding techniques, a safe space meditation, and guidance on when and how to seek further support. The goal is to build participants’ awareness and understanding of trauma and its impact..

Self Care
Offered as a single session or a series, this training explores how to integrate positive lifestyle choices into busy, high-stress environments. It focuses on recognizing burnout in humanitarian work and developing personalized self-care plans as preventative tools. Participants reflect on how their well-being and behavior directly impact those they support.

Safeguarding Policy
Developed in collaboration with each NGO, this interactive workshop uses the organization’s safeguarding policy to engage staff and volunteers in meaningful discussion. It highlights the importance of safeguarding and organizational support in humanitarian work, linking policies to international law and local systems—such as child protection in European refugee camps.

Humanitarian Principles
This session teaches about the 4 Humanitarian principles and Do no harm. It presents and discusses how the principles of Humanity, Impartiality, Independence and Neutrality must be integrated into organisational decision making within the humanitarian context.

Gender Based Violence
This session examines the existing theories and definitions of gender based violence; delivered by ‘Action for Women‘ founder. The session discusses how GBV is a global problem taking into consideration intersectionality, global politics and socio economic contexts. The session contains guided meditation and grounding practices.

Team Building
This session fosters trust and connection within teams through a mix of dynamic and reflective activities. Designed to enhance communication, creativity, and group bonding, it concludes with a safe feedback circle to encourage shared reflection and strengthen team cohesion.

Assertive Communication
Based on ESD Global curricula, this standalone session—or Part 2 of the Boundaries Training—teaches assertive communication strategies to reduce conflict, set boundaries, and foster respectful relationships in both personal and professional settings, including with colleagues, clients, and vulnerable communities.
Wellbeing Practices
Self Regulation/ EFT tapping
This session introduces the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems and explores simple techniques—such as breathing practices, mindfulness, EFT tapping, and pranayama—to relax and regulate. Delivered by a qualified yoga instructor, it offers practical, accessible tools to support self-care and resilience in humanitarian work.
Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra is guided meditation without movement that is proven to reduce stress and anxiety. The sessions are usually weekly, However individualised sessions can be facilitated with Kelley.
Guided and Self Massage
Self-esteem and self-love start with the relationship you have with yourself. And nothing better to feel it and embody it than massaging yourself with your own hand. You will learn how to massage yourself according to the Ayurveda philosophy, the benefits of it and the wisdom behind it.
Yoga
These online sessions are designed for humanitarian aid workers and volunteers to reduce stress, improve flexibility, and restore clarity. Through simple breathing practices and stretches, Emergency Yoga provides quick, accessible techniques—taking less than five minutes—to calm the body, support focus, and prevent anxiety in high-pressure situations.
Guided Meditations
Guided meditations can be facilitated and recorded for different groups and individuals-with the integration of Yoga Nidra, contemplative psychology and eastern philosophy.
Tension Releasing Movement
After enduring emotional and psychological stress and/or trauma, the human body can hold this stress in different places physically. This session is designed to teach the participants basic movements and stretching to release tension in the body- the session uses Yin Yoga and teaches massage techniques. It is a very relaxing session and works with the participants gently to ensure that they feel supported.
Ayurvedic Consultation
This Ayurvedic consultation offers a personalized approach to harmonizing body and mind with nature through diet, herbal remedies, yoga, meditation, and lifestyle practices. You’ll explore the core philosophy of Ayurveda, learn how digestion shapes overall wellbeing, and gain practical tools to build a balanced self-care routine—transforming everyday habits into healthier, more sustainable ones.
Reflective Journalling
The Reflective Journalling session introduces participants to journalling as a tool for personal and professional growth. Through guided techniques, attendees will learn how to use reflection to process experiences, enhance self-awareness, and strengthen their wellbeing and practice.
